CUPS NYC heads to Kingston
One of New York's most celebrated Caribbean party brands is heading back to its roots. CUPS NYC, the ultra-white cooler experience that has thrilled reggae and dancehall lovers across the Tri-State area for the past decade, will mark its 10th anniversary with a grand staging at the Kingston waterfront this Sunday.
The event will be one of the signature highlights of Greatness Weekend 2025, a four-day entertainment series that will transform Kingston and St Andrew into the ultimate Heroes Weekend destination.
For years, Jamaican partygoers have travelled to New York to experience the infectious energy and Caribbean flair that define CUPS NYC. Now, to celebrate its milestone year, the promoters are bringing the celebration back home.
"Hosting CUPS in Jamaica was always part of our long-term vision," says Tamark Bailey, co-founder and promoter of CUPS NYC.
"Kingston is the Mecca of Caribbean entertainment," Bailey adds. "Every rhythm, every style, every creative movement starts here -- so there's no better place to mark 10 years of CUPS than in the city that birthed our culture."
Partygoers can look forward to a stylish all-white celebration, powered by an elite DJ line-up, including Copper Shot, Richie Ras, ICO x Twin, Cutty and Kitt, DJ Triple X, and Bishop Escobar, ensuring the energy stays sky-high all night.
Greatness Weekend 2025 kicks off on Friday with PCF Night Swim, followed by Recall: Short Shorts vs Mini Skirt Festival on Saturday. The celebrations continue with CUPS: The Ultra White Affair on Sunday, October 19, and culminate with the Greatness Pink & White Brunch on Monday, October 20, at Hope Gardens.
